Juinor School student Maia Pendower wins three gold medals at Kuk Sool Won.
Maia Pendower, Lower 3, competed in the Spanish national Kuk Sool Won Championships held in Barcelona last weekend.
JKN Maia is a First Dahn black belt. She won three golds in Sword, Techniques and Sparring, a silver in Staff and a bronze in Forms. She also came away with the Grand Champion trophy for her division, 9 to 12 year old black belts. Maia trains at least twice a week in the Kuk Sool Won club in Claygate.
Kuk Sool Won is traditional martial arts and contains a complete self defence syllabus as well as training in weapons.
