Freemen’s is delighted to have met all Independent School Standards in our full ISI inspection (October 2025).
Inspectors praised Freemen’s as a community where pupils achieve exceptional academic success within a caring, ambitious and supportive environment.
They commended leadership, teaching quality and pastoral care – describing emotional wellbeing as a “significant strength of the school.”
Pupils were recognised as confident, kind and respectful, benefiting from a broad academic and co-curricular programme and a strong safeguarding culture.
“Freemen’s offers an education where pupils truly learn, lead and make a difference.” – ISI 2025
Headmaster Roland Martin said:
“As someone who inspects for ISI, I know how rare it is for a school to be recognised for a significant strength. This report reflects the dedication of colleagues, parents and pupils across the Freemen’s community.”
A forward-looking school with a strong community vibe that turns out well-rounded, happy young people — without sacrificing academic achievement.
