Alumni and Development Officer
An exciting opportunity to join our Development and Alumni Team here at Freemen’s School in Ashtead.
We are seeking to appoint an Alumni and Development Officer to join the School’s expanding Development & Alumni team. The successful candidate will be joining the team at an exciting time, where the role can create a real impact both within the School and the wider community.
Reporting to the Director of External Relations, you will be skilled in alumni engagement and prospect research and can identify stakeholders with the ability to support the School’s strategic objectives. You will have strong interpersonal skills, with the confidence and ability to build engaging and effective long-term relationships with our alumni and prospective supporters, whilst deepening relationships with existing donors. You will have experience of working in a front-facing alumni and development function and can provide evidence of your success. With a keen eye for detail, you will also be confident in creating a range of supporting literature and materials, with which to engage and excite prospects and donors.
With a strong emphasis on professional development and working within a highly supportive team, we will provide you with the opportunity to grow and develop your fundraising skills in a fast-paced environment, where every day brings new exciting opportunities, and all within 57 acres of stunning Surrey countryside.
Normal working hours are 21 hours over three days a week, term time plus 4 weeks. Salary is £27,750 - £31,550 pa pro-rata (FTE £35,310 - £39,380).
You will be based in the School in Ashtead Park, with the expectation to attend a number of development & alumni, community, and marketing events (which may take place out of typical hours), as required.
