Senior Technician (Biology and Physics)

35 hours per week, term time plus 20 days

A well-qualified, motivated person is required for the post of Senior Biology and Physics Technician to work 35 hours per week over 5 days in term time plus 20 days during the school holidays. The successful candidate will work mainly in Biology with a few hours per week in Physics. Science is taught from Year 7 to A Level, therefore practical experience in an educational environment would be an advantage. Proven experience of working in a Biology Laboratory or industrial setting is also desirable. The post will involve working with the Physics Technician as well as Biology and Physics teaching staff, so flexibility and the ability to communicate are important.

The post is a Grade D on the City of London salary scale. The pro-rata salary ranges from £36,335 - £40,755 p.a. inclusive of Outer London Weighting (full time equivalent £41,340 - £46,370 p.a. inclusive).
