Our Independent Living Programme gives Year 13 pupils a taste of real independence before they leave school – a chance to build practical skills and confidence for life beyond Freemen’s.
Housed in our beautifully refurbished suite at the top of Main House, the space includes four bedrooms, three bathrooms (including an accessible one) and a welcoming shared kitchen-lounge. Up to eight students live together for the week, learning to manage day-to-day routines.
Pupils take responsibility for cooking, cleaning and time-management, supported by boarding staff who are always on call when needed. It’s a safe, structured way to prepare for the next chapter.
