For 100 years, Freemen’s has been proud to call Ashtead home. Since moving to Ashtead Park from Brixton in June 1926, generations of pupils, staff, parents and alumni have helped shape the School into the vibrant community it is today.

Over the past century, Freemen’s has remained true to its founding values from 1854, while continually evolving to meet the needs of each new generation. From academic achievements and sporting successes to excellence in the arts, innovation and technology, the School has nurtured countless young people, inspiring them to fulfil their potential and make a positive impact on the world around them.

As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, we reflect with pride on the people, traditions and outstanding achievements that have defined the past 100 years. We also look ahead with confidence and ambition, embracing new opportunities while preserving the strong sense of community and purpose that has always been at the heart of Freemen’s.

Our centenary is not only a celebration of our history but also of the friendships, memories and shared experiences that connect generations of the Freemen’s community. We look forward to marking this special year with our pupils, staff, alumni, parents and the wider Ashtead community.

Here’s to celebrating a century in Ashtead, and to the next 100 years of learning, growth and inspiration.
