It's been a great start to the Autumn Term for Freemen's sport, with more than 220 fixtures played involving over 700 Freemen’s pupils.

Sports have been varied and include hosting a KS2 biathlon competition, Surrey swimming team relays, English School’s Cross Country, squash, golf, badminton, table tennis as well as our team sports of rugby, hockey, netball and football.

Highlights, from the half term include:

  • Winning the National ISGA Golf competition
  • U9, U11 + U13 Girls’ football matches
  • U11 football semi-finalists in ISFA Cup
  • U15 football winning 1st round of ISFA Cup
  • U11 boy's semi-finalists of Surbiton High Football Tournament & U9s Top 3 in the ACS Football Tournament
  • 2nd VII Netball winning St Teresa’s Tournament
  • U12 Girls winning Hawthorn’s Hockey Tournament
  • Senior Girls hockey quarter finalists of the Plate competition at the annual St George’s VIs

Alongside this, Freemen's co-curricular programme has gone from strength to strength with huge numbers attending sports squads and many activities being oversubscribed, including our excellent gym and cheer and cricket winter nets.

We'd also like to wish all of our tourists amazing trips to both Dubai and Abu Dhabi for the senior cricketers and our U13 Sports Tour to Jersey over the half term break. You can follow their progress on our dedicated Instagram account @FreemensSport.

An overview of next half terms fixtures can be found in the school calendar on the SOCS website. We welcome spectators at our fixtures and look forward to seeing you soon!
