Even though school fixtures have been curtailed this term we would still love to celebrate the success of a number of our Freemen's pupils who entered the highly competitive virtual District Cross Country Championships.

Running a variety of distances remotely and submitting their times (using timing apps and similar), Freemen's entered a large selection of pupils from Under 12 - Under 18. Huge congratulations to all those who took part and we now await team lists for those who will make the Central Surrey team in the scheduled cross country meet.

We give a special mention to the following pupils - Jake L5 (1st), Nicholas U5 (3rd), Marcus U5 (4th) in the Boy's U17 age group, which led to Freemen's taking 1st place overall! Our congratulations also go to Kiara (L6) and Theo (L6) who were both 1st in the Senior competitions respectively, as were Alessia (U4) and Benjy (L4) in the U15 age group.

Overall Freemen's took 1st place not only in the Boy's U17 competition but also in the Girl's U17 competition, Senior Girls & Boys, and 2nd place in the U15 boys. We are very proud of everyone who took part and are looking forward to the next cross country meet, whether in person or virtually!
