Thomas Franks will be the new caterers to City of London Freemen's School, replacing Sodexo.

We are thrilled to announce that we, at Thomas Franks, have been selected as the new caterers at City of London Freemen’s School. We are honoured to have this opportunity to serve your children and elevate every aspect of the catering and events services at the school.
As a truly independent, flexible, and ethical catering company, we are committed to providing the best possible dining experience for your children. One of our key focuses will be on creating a real food story that resonates with the students. Our menus have been specifically designed with the students in mind, and they will feature age-appropriate, well-executed, authentic, and tasty dishes, all made from seasonal ingredients.
At Thomas Franks, we pride ourselves on the quality and freshness of our food. We ensure that 96% of our meals are prepared from fresh ingredients, minimising the use of frozen and processed foods. This means that your children will enjoy better meals, exciting flavour combinations, fun theme days, tantalising pop-ups, and delicious treats – all prepared on site.
But our commitment to excellence goes beyond the food itself. We are dedicated to creating a holistic dining experience for your children. To achieve this, we will be implementing several exciting initiatives. Firstly, there will be changes to the main dining room, both structural and furnishing within the space. This will have a fantastic impact on the pupils dining experience but also resolve the issues with queueing, allowing pupils to make the most of their lunchtime break. There will be a transformation of the 6th form cafe, providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for the students to enjoy their meals.
Additionally, we have a team of nutritionists who will work closely with the school to provide education and added value in terms of health and wellbeing. We believe in the importance of equipping students with the knowledge and tools to make informed choices about their diet.
Furthermore, sustainability, inclusivity, and community are at the core of our values. We will actively focus on reducing our environmental impact, promoting inclusivity in our menus, and fostering a sense of community within the school.
