Kaiya gained 9 A* and an A in her GCSEs.

Kaiya is very happy. She has just received some impressive GCSE results.

"It was hard work, especially between the mocks and exams, cramming everything in, but I relaxed as soon as the exams started," she says, but unusually picks the exams as a highlight of the last two years. "The mocks were harder because they were over two weeks."

One of Kaiya's biggest challenges was finding out what she needed to do to increase her predicted Science grades from an A to an A*.

"I did a lot of practice papers and focused on where I got low marks and then worked on that," explains Kaiya who joined Freemen's in Form 1. She describes the school as "achieving, hardworking and busy".
