Early in January pupils at our Spanish Club held a Piñata Party.
The Piñata Party was inspired by Mexican Christmas traditions.
Pupils made and decorated their own Piñatas and enjoyed smashing them whilst their friends sang a popular traditional Mexican song to encourage the person to break the Piñata open.
Activities like this motivate pupils to improve their language skills, enrich their cultural awareness and are great fun!
