Congratulations to 4 Sixth Formers who competed in the National Team Mathematics Final.
Jenny, Grace, Yuexuan and Marco took part in the final which was held at the Royal Horticultural Hall in London earlier this month.
From all over the country, 88 teams with the best mathematicians came to pit their wits against each other. In advance, they had to research an unfamiliar area of maths and construct a poster on the day. They also did a group round, cross-number, shuttle round and relay.
Overall, they performed really well and came in the top half of the schools there. 1,200 schools enter the competition which puts Freemen's in the top 3 per cent!
They had a great day and enjoyed the challenge of an academic team competition. Well Done.
