U3 in International Ice Hockey Tournament, Canada.

Dan R (U3H), competed in the 60th annual International Pee Wee ice hockey tournament in Quebec City, Canada. The Pee Wee tournament is the world’s largest ice hockey tournament for 11 and 12 year olds.  Dan, playing for the Guildford Firestorms, competed alongside 2,500 players from 120 teams and 19 countries. The team even got to play in the 17,000 seater Videotron Stadium.  The team was fully immersed in French Canadian culture by staying with local billet families for the 10 days.  Extra activities included playing pond hockey, skating on a 3.4km track through the woods, husky dog sledding, cruising on the frozen St Lawrence River, skiing and visiting a snow park.
