Following examination appeals, Freemen's sees a rise in excellent results

Freemen’s recently completed the final external examination appeal following the 2019 results. Having administered 277 reviews of marking and re-moderations, nearly 20% of grades have changed across this year’s GCSE and A level examinations.

Mr Paul Bridges, Deputy Head Academic commented “These results demonstrate a significant achievement by the students and the School and show the advantage of being able to draw on the expertise of the Freemen’s Exams Office to ensure every Freemen’s student achieves their potential. It is this attention to detail that separates good schools from great. Sincere thanks go to all our staff who gave up their time to advise students and families and achieve the results that we know our students deserve.”
