Lower 4 graduation YES Programme

The final session of this year’s Young Engineers and Scientists (YES) programme saw our eleven L4 pupils all achieve a bronze CREST award. The monthly event at the prestigious WS Atkins HQ (Epsom), has introduced our pupils to a variety of civil engineering challenges such as designing buildings to combat earthquakes and using micro-electronics (Aduino) to control level crossing barriers. They have learnt so much and I hope we can encourage them all to continue their STEM activities in the schools extensive SOCs programme next year. Well done!
